1. When is the application deadline for the 2019 Los Angeles Young Musician International Competition?

The regular application deadline is June 15, 2019 June 30, 2019.

The late application deadline is June 30, 2019.

2. I am traveling from another country. What accommodations are available to me?

If you are traveling from out of the area, you can stay with an American Host Family. Please email us at info@layoungmusician.org to receive the homestay application.

3. What happens if my performance goes over the allotted time limit?

If your performance goes over the allotted time limit, the jury may stop the performance. However, the results will not be influenced by the time limitation.

4. How can I upload my performance videos?

Please send your performance video links to info@layoungmusician.org

5. Can I change the repertoire I chose on my application?

Yes, please communicate any changes to your repertoire by June 30, 2019, via email: info@layoungmusician.org

6. The online application was not working for me? Is there another way I can apply?

Yes, please email us at info@layoungmusician.org and an we will send you a PDF application form.
